CDE Summer STEAM Academy
The Prairie School is honored to be named a recipient of an Edward E. Ford Foundation Education Leadership Grant and proud to announce The Charles W. and Jennifer C. Johnson Center for Developing Excellence (CDE), a summer program designed to engage, challenge, enrich and propel more students to enroll and succeed in higher-level high school math and science (AP/IB) programs. Our successful proposal, which detailed the creation of a ground-breaking Racine summer program, is summarized through our program brochure.
The CDE Summer STEAM Academy is real-world science, technology, engineering, art and math. It is a 5-day, lab-based course where students design, build, and discover solutions to challenging problems. 2019 Program Brochure:
